are we?
Chabad
Lubavitch is dedicated to serving Jewish communities
by strengthening Jewish life worldwide. Our guiding
principle is Ahavat Yisrael - love for fellow Jews.
We recognise no difference between Jews anywhere and
our goal is to serve their spiritual and physical needs
regardless of affiliation.
This
is epitomised by the exemplary work of Chabad Lubavitch
in promoting and fostering Jewish family life, values
and traditions in the Ilford and inner Essex districts,
home of approximately 30,000 Jewish residents. Our Gants
Hill and Buckhurst Hill Centres play an integral role
in radiating the warmth, light and friendliness at the
very heart of Judaism throughout these communities by
providing:
- Innovative
and challenging educational programmes for all age
groups, promoting self-development and leadership.
- Compassionate
and professional counselling.
- Understanding,
empathy, support and love for all.
- Help
to stem the tide of apathy, alienation and assimilation
to which we are losing our younger generation.
- Drugs
and alcohol counselling through our associate charity,
Drugsline.
